(Riyadh) – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani received outgoing US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dr. Joseph W. Westphal and commended his dedicated efforts, hailing relations between the Gulf countries and the United States.
Dr. Alzayani and the US diplomat discussed GCC-US cooperation in all fields, in addition to regional and international political developments and issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Negotiations Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Ouwaishaq.
