GCC Secretary-General, WTO Director-General discuss cooperation

(Geneva) – Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has discussed with Roberto Azevedo, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, WTO, ways to enhance joint cooperation in various sectors, and the organisation’s efforts to promote trade relations across the world.

In a statement issued by the GCC Secretariat General, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen the participation of regional organisations in the work of WTO committees to achieve further benefits for the GCC trade sector.
