Foreign Minister receives IPI president

(Manama) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in his office the President of the International Peace Institute (IPI), Terje Roed-Larsen .

The minister welcomed Roed-Larsen, praising IPI’s role in promoting peace and security by providing research, organising events, and suggesting visions to confront the challenges facing countries in the region, wishing the Institute continuous success.

Roed-Larsen praised the minister’s interest and support of the efforts and programmes of IPI, highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in establishing security and peace in the region and the world, and wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
