FM meets PM of New Zealand
(Willington) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, met with John Key, Prime Minister of New Zealand. During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the UAE’s keenness and its sincere desire to promote cooperation and friendship between the two countries, to having more opportunities of growth and progress and to support it in all fields to serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
The Prime Minister of New Zealand welcomed the visit of UAE Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation, expressing his wishes that the visit will have positive results in the promotion of what has been achieved during the last years of development in the two countries’ relations and explore further prospects and opportunities of investment and partnership in economic, trade, tourism, agriculture relations as well as renewable energy projects along with other fields.
The meeting also touched on ways to achieve further growth and prosperity in the strategic partnership between the two countries and the possibility of opening up new investment areas. It reviewed taking advantage of opportunities in both countries besides providing more opportunities for the private sector, investors and businessmen’s participation in joint projects especially in the fields of renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, education and other fields.
