
(New York) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has met with his counterparts Laurent Fabius from France, Ditmir Bushati from Albania, Giorgi Kvirikashvili from Georgia, Georges Rebelo Chikoti from Angola, Ioannis Kasoulides from Cyprus, and Claudia Ruiz Salinas from Mexico.
The meetings were held on the side-lines of Sheikh Abdullah’s participation in the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA 70, being held in New York.
During the meetings, Sheikh Abdullah and his counterparts discussed bilateral relations, ways of boosting them in various fields, exchanged political positions and views on a number of issues of common interest and those raised within the framework of the UN, particularly issues of concern in the Middle East and North African agenda.
The meetings were attended by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, and Ambassador Lana Nusseibeh, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the UN.
