(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended, in presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai a reception hosted by Meydan, to mark the 21st Dubai World Cup, which will be held at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse.
The reception was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman of Meydan, and world’s leading owners.
Sheikh Mohammed and the guests watched a film about Dubai’s success story, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Sheikh Mohammed engaged in talks with the owners of the horses fielded for the Dubai World Cup. He wished all contestants best of luck in this cultural gathering.
He also expressed the hope that the UAE guests will experience the culture and hospitality of the UAE and carry the Emirati people’s message of peace to their friendly countries.
