(Manama) – Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, met His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at the Gudaibiya Palace.
The two leaders reviewed the latest regional and global developments, stressing that the changes that are currently taking place in the world require adopting initiatives that ensure optimal dealing with their impacts at the local and regional levels.
They called on the relevant authorities to put forward effective plans so as to be able to deliver the best services to the citizens under any circumstances.
Deputy King and HRH the Prime Minister stressed the need to clamp down on terrorism, drain its sources and prevent its effect on economic progress, as well as on security and stability, underlining the importance of fighting the deviant ideology and extremist rhetoric that fuel terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Deputy King congratulated HRH the Prime Minister on the marriage of his grandson, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. He wished HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali a happy marital life.
