(Manama) – His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Simon Martin, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, adding that the strategic Bahrain-UK partnership provides benefits to both countries across a range of sectors. His Royal Highness then praised the Ambassador’s active role in supporting and furthering this collaboration.
The Crown Prince and Ambassador also discussed recent international developments, as well as regional challenges that require collaborative and coordinated international action. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised the United Kingdom’s international endeavours that contribute to restoring regional security and stability.
For his part, Ambassador Martin expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted the strong bond between the United Kingdom and Bahrain. The Ambassador went on to praise His Royal Highness’ role in further strengthening bilateral ties.
