(Sharm el Sheikh) – UAE Minister of Social Affairs Mariam bint Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi opened the 34th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm El Sheikh, with the representatives of Arab and UN specialised organisations also in attendance.
As chairman of the current session, Al Roumi said the Council had made tremendous efforts to set the Arab development priorities as part of the post-2015 development agenda. There are 15 priorities and more than 60 goals aimed at improving the living condition of people across the world.
