
(Islamabad) – Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister; and, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Shaikh Khalid who was holding a meeting with the Pakistani Premier, as part of his current official visit to the country, expressed pride in the ever-growing Bahraini-Pakistani relations towards fulfilling the aspirations of the two friendly countries for closer cooperation.
The minister hailed Pakistan’s supportive stances towards the Kingdom of Bahrain at all circumstances, saying that the close relations embody the depth of bilateral relations and reflect common keenness to nurture close ties.
He also commended the incessant efforts exerted by Pakistan to anchor the pillars of security and stability regionally and globally, affirming Bahrain’s keen desire to further back them so that peace prevails worldwide.
The Pakistani Premier welcomed the minister’s visit, recalling with pride the visit he had paid to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the warm welcome and gracious hospitably he was offered by the leadership.
He said the remarkable welcome reflected the joint endeavours to engage in more interaction and echoed the solid bilateral ties in a prosperous era, characterized by close cooperation and huge potentials for more coordination vis-à-vis various issues.
The Pakistani Premier also lauded the great efforts being made by the Kingdom of Bahrain to consolidate international cooperation in the face of the multiple threats, wishing the kingdom further progress and affluence.
