(Manama) – Information Minister and Board of Trustees Chairman of Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi stressed strong and historic fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE and their growth at all levels. He lauded mutual respect between both countries’ leaderships and peoples, pointing out ties of kinship and common destiny binding both countries.
The Information Minister was speaking as he received Editor-in-Chief of Emirati Al-Etihad newspaper Mohammed Ibrahim Al Hammadi on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain, in the presence of President of Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) Mones Mohammed Al-Mardi. He hailed media cooperation with the UAE, commending the unwavering Emirati stances in supporting Bahrain’s security and stability. He also praised the pioneering role of Al-Etihad newspaper and its outstanding objectivity and professionalism in covering news.
Al Hammadi thanked the Information Minister for the meeting, commending his keenness on boosting media cooperation for the common interest of both countries and peoples.
