(Manama) – Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has headed the delegation of the Government of Bahrain to the World Government Summit (WGS2018) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The Summit included a number of forums on topics such as the global dialogue for happiness, achievements of Arab youth in the development work, the evolution of artificial intelligence, and climate change.

The World Government Summit is a global platform for exchanging views on means of improving the future of governments worldwide, and benefitting from innovations and smart solutions in dealing with the challenges that face the future of humanity. It promotes best government endeavours in various countries and societies, in establishing key pillars of development with the aim of fulfilling the eternal human outreach for happiness and quality of life.
