
(London) – His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Leader of Al Khalidiya Stables, congratulated his sibling His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation and Leader of the Royal Endurance Team, on the occasion of the Royal Endurance Team’s achievement of Argentan’s 130-km endurance championship first title in France.
Rider Hamad Janahi has won the title with a record of 06:24:57 hours at the speed of 20 kilometres per hour. Thus he has qualified and booked a bench for Bahrain in the international championship in Italy.
HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support to the horseracing and endurance in the kingdom has pushed this sport to world-class status after the series of successes achieved at the international arena.
