(Kuwait City) – The Arab Foreign Ministers’ preparatory meeting for the League of Arab States Council has begun in advance of the 25th Arab summit. The UAE delegation to the meeting was led by H.H. Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State.
The Arab Foreign Ministers’ preparatory meeting, which was chaired by Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, was to put the final touches ahead of the 25th Arab Summit that will be held amidst critical developments in the Arab world.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss draft resolutions, prepare the agenda of the two-day summit, the Kuwait Declaration and the final communique to be referred to Arab leaders. The meetings will discuss a number of political, safety, economic and social items, including the Syrian conflict and the humanitarian crises for refugees and displaced people resulting from it, as well as profiles of the process of peace in the Middle East.
