(Washington D.C.) – H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State who is in Washington, D.C., held a number of meetings with US officials discussing bilateral relations between the UAE and the US in various areas of mutual concern, including international ties, regional stability and energy, economic and trade fields.
Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United States, participated in the discussions aimed at enhancing the existing strategic partnership between the two countries and expanding it to include new fields for the benefit of the two sides.
Dr. Al Jaber said that the UAE-US relations are strong and are based on a clear vision, mutual respect, joint interests, and continuous communication and coordination, adding that the UAE is looking forward to enhance ties, especially issues of joint concern, including energy and trade, as well as ways to enhance the welfare of the region.
The UAE Minister of State also held meetings with officials of the US administration, Congress and Secretaries of State of Energy and Foreign Affairs, in addition to a number of decision and policy makers in the US.
