Putin Visits Turkey to Boost Trade & Energy Deals(Istanbul) – Russian President Vladimir Putin paid one day visit to Turkey amid tensions between Moscow and Ankara over the Syrian crisis. During the visit, the two countries signed nine deals in trade and energy fields that aim at increasing the bilateral trade between the two countries.
Putin was also received by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on expanding bilateral relations along with discussion on the Syrian crisis as well as the possible deployment of NATO’s Patriot missiles on Turkey’s border with Syria.
