(Macau) – President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, participated in the Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF) at the invitation of the World Tourism Organization.
The forum was held on October 14-16 in the city of Macau, China. It focused on ways to invest the increasing number of tourists in promoting the sustainable development projects.
BACA President stressed taking every opportunity available to build bridges of communication with the people of the world to enrich the experience of the homeland and enhance its standing as a cultural center.
She pointed out BACA’s efforts in creating an attractive cultural infrastructure to bolster the sustainable development projects.
