(Algiers) – The Algerian President received, at Al-Shaab Palace, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and his accompanying delegation. The delegation includes H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, in addition to a number of senior officials.
His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, during the meeting held talks with Algeria’s President Abdelaziz Bouteflika over ways of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and their people.
The two sides took note of the progress the Emirati-Algerian bonds were making, thanks to the tremendous support shown by leaders of the two countries.
As they exchanged cordial talks, Sheikh Mohammed and President Bouteflika expressed their pride at the historic bonds between the two countries and pledged to strengthen them in a manner that promotes mutual interests. The talks also explored ways of strengthening economic and trade relations. The two sides also discussed the prospects of sharing experiments and expertise in investment, economic and industrial sectors. Two sides also discussed the latest Arab, regional and international developments and exchanged views on a broad range of issues of mutual interest.
