Youth City 2030 to develop youth developmental role

(Manama) – His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, hailed the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Bahraini youth as their impetus to become partners in planning and implementation of plans to build all institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to achieve leadership through persistently tackling the challenging experiences and who are equipped with high quality training and expertise.

HH Shaikh Nasser said the Youth City 2030 is considered one of the creative programmes aimed to educate and build Bahraini youth personality in accordance with international standards through engagement in professional programmes capable of brushing up their skills and capabilities and transformation of their ideas into substantial reality.

His Highness praised the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, led by the minister Hisham Al Jowder, and all the ministry staffs, in the successful organisation of Youth City 2030 which is the first ever role model of its type in the region and the enfoldment of noble patriotic goals for youth, praising Tamkeen’s support to the City which reflects its strategy aimed to promote the status of Bahraini youth.

Earlier, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, deputized the Minister of Youth and Sports to inaugurate the eighth edition of Youth City 2030.
