Tawazun Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and security agencies, revealed the signing of nine contracts with both local and international firms on the first day of the Dubai Airshow 2023. Zayed Saeed Al Meraikhi and Majed Ahmed Al Jaberi, official spokespersons for Tawazun Council, made the announcement during a press conference at the event. Al Meraikhi highlighted four contracts valued at AED 2.7 billion with local companies, including significant agreements with “Halcon” for AED 2.14 billion in ammunition procurement. Al Jaberi detailed international deals amounting to AED 2 billion, featuring partnerships with Chinese, French, U.S., and Greek firms for various aerospace services and equipment. Both spokespersons underscored the strategic importance of the Dubai Airshow in advancing aviation technologies and fostering economic growth.
