Obama meets Japanese Prime Minister

Obama meets Japanese Prime Minister(Washington) – U.S. President, Barack Obama welcomed Japan’s Prime Minister, Yoshihiko Noda at the White House, followed by a working lunch and then a joint news conference. Japanese Prime Minister comes as a step forward by Japan and United States looking to reinvigorate defence ties. The two leaders discusses bilateral ties and ways to enhance relations, along with regional and global situation.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Noda, President Obama said, “We instructed our teams to continue our consultation regarding Japan’s interest in joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which would benefit both our economies and the region”.
