(Manama) – The Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has opened the door for collaboration with Ahlia University in partnership with Bahrain Sports Channel for field training for the university students.
The initiative was on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s initiatives, which include the fifth Khalid Bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centers, Girls and People with Disabilities 2017, and also the Khalid Bin Hamad Youth Theater Festival for national clubs, youth centres and people with disabilities.
The league will be from July 24th until August 23rd under the theme of #meeting_of_generations at Khalifa Sports City Hall.
It is organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs in cooperation with the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa as part of his humanitarian and sporting initiatives.
Moreover, the Theater Festival will be held from October 5 to 17 at the Muharraq Model Youth Centre under the theme of #painting_a_smile.
It is organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs in cooperation with the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, as part of his initiatives in the youth and cultural fields.
The cooperation in partnership with the sports channel comes within the framework of the Media Office plan to integrate student cadres with the initiatives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, in line with the directives of His Highness in the interest of youth in all fields.
A number of university students will participate in presenting weekly TV messages for the two activities in order to achieve the main objective of the initiatives to support youth cadres and give them the required opportunity in various fields.
Humood Al Jeeb, Bahrain TV Production Supervisor said that the initiatives of HH have begun to achieve many of the long-term goals, which covers participants in various events.
He pointed out that the success was not limited to the category of players only, but went beyond that and reached the working committees and cadres from both genders.
He added that the youth category has achieved unprecedented success due to the initiatives of His Highness, which provides them with training and qualifying opportunities that benefit them in the scientific and practical future.
Al-Jeeb assured that implementing the directives of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa comes in support for the youth and prepares them for the future.
He stressed that cooperation with an academic and scientific institution such as Ahlia University is cooperation with a leading and a pioneer Bahraini institution, and it is considered as an education cradle in GCC and the Middle East.
Abdullah Hussain Al-Kamli, the director in Bahrain TV (Sports Channel) said that this cooperation will be fruitful to support young people in the sports and media fields. Al Kamli pointed out the importance of seeking fresh employees in the media field by training and qualifying them.
He pointed out that HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has always been the first through his supportive initiatives for all sectors to take care of the youth category, noting that it is imperative that we contribute to these initiatives and support them; to give the next generation the opportunity to demonstrate new ideas.
The cooperation between the university and the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa proves the great work of the Media Office in serving and developing the media field, said Ms. Fatin Dhaif,
Director Admission & Registration Directorate at Ahlia University. She pointed out the great work the Media Office is doing to develop this important edifice by attracting the best cadres of young Bahrainis, especially the students of Ahlia University.
