(Dakar) – President of Senegal, Macky Sall, has decorated H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the UAE, with Senegal’s National Order of The Lion, in a ceremony following a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Dakar.
Sheikh Abdullah was received in the presence of Senegalese Prime Minister, Mohammed Abdallah Boun Dionne and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State.
Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs, Khaled Ghanem Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and International Cooperation Affairs, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World, and Mohammed Salim Al Rashidi, Ambassador of the UAE to Senegal, also attended the meeting.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Senegalese president.
He also conveyed the UAE leaders’ wishes for continuous stability, progress and stability for Senegal and its people.
