(Abu Dhabi) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned in the strongest terms the hydrogen bomb test conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and said it would pose a real threat to international security and stability.
In a statement, the ministry stressed the importance of respecting regulations regarding the ban on proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the world.
“Breach of these international rules and norms poses a serious threat to the mechanism and constitutes a flagrant violation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions and unanimity within the international family,” the statement emphasised.
The statement called on the international community to take all measures required to confront these violations in order to preserve international security and peace.
