Suu Kyi's party wins 43 seats in parliament(Yangon) – Myanmar opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi’s party has won 43 of the 44 seats it contested in parliamentary elections, according to official results announced by state television.
The landslide victory gave the Nobel laureate her first-ever seat in parliament.
