Sheikh Mohammed holds talks with South Korean President

Sheikh Mohammed holds talks with South Korean President(Abu Dhabi) – H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces welcomed Lee Myung-bak, the President of South Korea at the Emirates Palace.
Present at the meeting were Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H. Sheikh Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Trade H.E. Sheikha Lubna, Secretary-General of the Supreme Petroleum Council H.E. Dr.Jouan Salem, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority Khaldoon Khalifa and a number of other senior officials from UAE. From the Korean side, the meeting was attended by Kim Sung-hwan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a number of other ministers and the Korean Ambassador to UAE Kwon Tae-Kyun.
During the meeting, both the leaders reviewed bilateral relations and the ways to enhance them and reiterated keenness to strengthen cooperation between UAE and S. Korea so as to achieve aspirations of both countries and their peoples. They also discussed the developments in the region and issues of mutual concern.
Sheikh Mohammed wished continued progress and prosperity to the people of South Korea. On his part, President Lee Myung-bak asked the Crown Prince to convey his greetings to President Sheikh Khalifa and said that he looks forward to meet with Sheikh Mohammed in South Korea to attend the Nuclear Security Conference to be hosted by his country next month.
