Sheikh Mohammed Receives Australian Defence Minister

(Abu Dhabi) – H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai received Senator David Johnston and Australian Defence Minister and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both the sides talked about ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries.
Military and technical cooperation between the UAE and Australia was also reviewed, especially the cooperation related to the exchange of experiences and training courses shared between the armed forces in both the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Chairman of Emirates Group and H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and H.E. Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces HE Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Qamzi and H.E. Major General Khamis Rain decorated deputy commanding general of Dubai Police and H.E. Pablo Tshahyho the Kang Australian Ambassador to the UAE and a number of military personnel.
