Sheikh Mohammed Meets President of Malawi

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai welcomed President of Malawi Joyce Banda at Marmoum Resthouse. During the meeting, both the leaders discussed bilateral ties and prospects of building common framework for boosting trade and investment relations that serve interest of the two countries and their people.
President Banda praised the tremendous steps the UAE has taken towards sustainable development under the wise vision, political and social stability and harmony between the leadership and people. She briefed Sheikh Mohammed on her country’s geographical and natural potentials which could be used for building an attractive tourism industry. She also stated her country’s need for developing its infrastructure, expressing her desire of benefiting from UAE assistance in this respect.
