Sheikh Mohammed Meets French FM
(Paris) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received at his residence in Paris French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Fabius welcomed Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to France and reiterated the deep-rooted ties between the two countries in all fields. Sheikh Mohammed and Fabius discussed a number of issue of mutual interest, as well as ways to enhance relations in economic, scientific, tourism and cultural domains. The meeting also touched on regional developments, including the current situation in Syria.
Present during the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, H.H. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, H.H. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Ruler’s Court, H.H. Lt. General Musabah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Vice- President’s Office, H.E. Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, H.E. Mohammed Mir Abdullah Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to France, and number of French officials.
