Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Meets Saudi FM

(Abu Dhabi) – His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, who arrived in the UAE on a short visit.
During the meeting attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed and Prince Saud discussed the regional issues and a number of issues of mutual interest in the light of distinguished historic relations and continuous coordination between the two countries.
The Saudi and the UAE foreign ministers said in a statement that “In line with the firm position of the two sisterly states on supporting the rights of Syrian people to defend themselves from the crimes of the Syrian regime, we welcome the decision of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces to participate at the Geneva 2 Conference.”
