Sharjah ruler orders new projects in E. Region

(Sharjah) – H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, visited Wadi Al Helo in the Eastern Region as part of his regular tours to inspect people’s living conditions and assess their needs. Sheikh Sultan affirmed during a meeting with scores of citizens of the area the vital need for maintaining and preserving security and peace among community members.
The Ruler of Sharjah instructed the municipal authorities to carry out a number of service utilities project to develop the area including construction of 30 low-income houses, a secondary school, sport club and cultural centre. As the area needs massive reclamation works, the ruler stressed the importance of considering development impact on natural environment.
Sheikh Sultan was accompanied during the tour by Salah bin Butti Al Mhuairi, Chairman of Department of Planning and Survey, and a group of police officer and senior officials.
