(Sharjah)- H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council ,SEC), chaired the SEC meeting at the Ruler’s office. In attendance was H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
The meeting tackled a number of issues pertaining to the emirate. He also familiarised himself on a number of vital projects in the Emirate of Sharjah.
In implementation of the National and Reserve Service law, issued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to instill sacrifice and loyalty values in Emiratis, the SEC was briefed on the list submitted by the Human Resources Department regarding eligible employees to enroll in the national service in December 2014.
Sheikh Sultan underscored that the enrolment in the national and reserve service “Is an honour and feather in cap of UAE citizen”, who protects homeland and gains attained by the Union during the era of the founding fathers to date.
The Crown Prince of Sharjah commended Sheikh Khalifa for issuing the National and Reserve Service Law, which will bolster cohesion and instill the values of sacrifice and loyalty among Emiratis.
The Executive Council also discussed a number of issues in the agenda.
