(Abu Dhabi) – On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, opened the fourth ordinary session of the 15th legislative chapter.
The opening ceremony began with Sheikh Mohammed’s arrival at the headquarters of the Federal National Council, accompanied by Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC). After inspecting the guard of honour and the playing of the national anthem of the U.A.E., Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Their Highnesses the Crown Princes, deputy rulers, and sheikhs made his way to Zayed Hall where the session was convened.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed opened the fourth ordinary session of the 15th legislative chapter, where he greeted the FNC Speaker and members, highlighting the fact that the FNC’s role is represented in serving the homeland and its citizens, and in establishing cooperative bridges between the FNC and the government for furthering the interests of the U.A.E. and its citizens.
Also, His Highness called upon the FNC Speaker and members to perform their national duty honestly and faithfully to preserve the country and provide security and stability for all citizens. Al Murr then delivered his speech, in which he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to His Highness the President and His Highness the Vice President, as well as Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for their continued support and their enthusiasm in ensuring the success of FNC’s work for the benefit of the country and citizens.
The opening ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and U.A.E. Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai, Lt. General Misbah bin Rashid AI Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice-President, along with a number of Sheikhs, Ministers, military and police leaders in the state, as well as heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State.
