(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, honoured the winners of the awards to recognise the best government services on smartphone.
Sheikh Mohammed said the massive number of contestants has shown how the world realises the importance of improving m-government services and of transforming into smart governments.
“The award reflects the UAE’s keenness to set a ground-breaking example. It also highlights the UAE’s pioneering role in providing excellent government services,” he said.
Sheikh Mohammed said that governments’ success is measured by the quality of services offered to their peoples.
The award ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC), H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Chairman of the World Government Summit.
