(Kuwait) – Oman secured their second football Gulf Cup title after beating the UAE on penalties.
UAE and Oman were tied at 0-0 in the Gulf Cup final and the match had been forced into extra-time.

Two minutes from time, UAE had a golden chance to seal the match and the title through a penalty, but Oman’s goalkeeper, Faiyz Al Rashidi, saved the penalty and kept Oman’s title hopes alive.
Oman won the shoot-out 5-4.
