New Ministers Sworn in by President

(Abu Dhabi) – A number of members of the new Cabinet were sworn in at Madinat Zayed in Abu Dhabi’s Western Region by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. In attendance among others were H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance.
The ministers who sworn in were H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health; H.E. Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy; H.E. Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Balhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works; H.E. Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State; and H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed Ghobash, Minister of State.
Sheikh Khalifa urged the ministers to work diligently and sincerely to achieve sustainable development and keep pace with the international status of the UAE. He expressed his confidence in the government of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to implement the goals of the Federal Government strategy so as to achieve further development and progress in various fields.
