National Guard president meets Pakistani army commander

(Islamabad) – National Guard President Lt-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa has met Pakistani Army Commander Lt-General Qamar Javed Bajwa in the Pakistani Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The Pakistani commander welcomed His Highness, praising the level of close friendship and cooperation ties in the interest of both countries and peoples.
His Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Pakistani army commander for his keenness and diligence on the cooperation, affirming the Kingdom of Bahrain’s aspiration to boost this cooperation to achieve the shared interest. He also praised the advancement the Pakistani armed forces in all fields, wishing the Islamic Republic of Pakistan further progress and prosperity.
Existing military cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan in various fields were discussed during the meeting.
Ambassador of Bahrain to Pakistan, Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, was also present during the meeting.
