MOI grants citizenship to children of Emirati mothers

(Abu Dhabi) – The Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs at the Ministry of Interior granted the citizenship to eligible 106 children of Emirati mothers, following the federal decree issued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Major General H.E. Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, congratulated those covered by the presidential decree, urging them to become good citizens, sustain reputation of the state and its image, preserve Emirati cultural norms, abide by the constitution, laws and regulations in force, and taking into account the prevailing norms, authentic Arabic customs and traditions, and tolerance, which characterizes the U.A.E. society.
The beneficiaries expressed their joy about the presidential decree, which granted them the citizenship.
