IRENA General Assembly Opens in Abu Dhabi

(Abu Dhabi) – The third session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has opened at St Regis hotel in Abu Dhabi. Delegates from 150 countries are participating in the assembly which is the foremost annual renewable energy event, setting the global policy agenda for the transition to a sustainable future based on renewable resources and technologies.
The two-day conference is being held within the framework of ‘Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week’ (ADSW), the international meeting of heads of governments, policy-makers, business leaders and academics.
