Industrial Security Conference 2017 inaugurated

(Manama) – Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has stressed the importance of synergizing and activation of all security forces in the region with other security forces in mega conglomerates and national establishments to achieve security integration and cooperation spirit to prevail the bilateral security ties commensurate with the contemporary security challenges fronting national economies of our peoples and countries.
The minister inaugurated the ME Industrial Security Conference/Expo2017 organized by the International Society for Industrial Security under the patronage of Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He explained that the most important wealth of any community is its human capital represented in its offspring who are the hope for all future progress.
The minister urged industrial security specialists in the respective governmental departments and private sector companies to join these specialized societies, in view of the returns from investment to gain the best expertise from modern practical applications and latest regional and international developments, affirming the significance of compliance with the fundaments, standards, procedures and strategies under all circumstances to ensure the safety of public and private facilities.
The minister commended the International Society of Industrial Security on choosing Bahrain to host this major conference and associated exhibition which will shed light latest developments, progress and potential to benefit from available opportunities in the region’s countries, increase the demand on modern technology usage to boost efficacy and performance of industrial security in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries and other relevant sectors in view of the considerable significance of this industry for the world and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
