(Gaza) – Thousands of Palestinians gathered in Gaza to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Hamas. Thousands of Hamas supporters, some of them flashing victory signs, were braving the rain to attend the event. The anniversary comes a few days after Palestine has won UN non-member observer state.
Khaled Mashaal’s, the leader of Hamas also is on a visit to the Palestinian territory; a first in his lifetime of exile. At the main stage in Gaza City, a roaring crowd greeted Mashaal and Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
