(Manama) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa emphasised the government’s keenness on fast-tracking development and catering for citizens’ needs. He affirmed that the government’s efforts are focused on devoting all resources to cater for the needs of villages regarding mainly housing, health, educational and infrastructure projects.

HRH the Premier was speaking as he received senior officials as well as economic and media figures, journalists and citizens. He said every project represents an added value in the life of citizens who occupy centre stage in the government’s strategies. He underlined the need to comply with the implementation schedule of any project, pointing out that the government’s policy of openness has broadened the scope of investment cooperation with the rest of the world, paved the way for foreign investments and backed the private sector to carry out joint projects with brotherly and friendly countries.

HRH the Prime Minister underscored the need to re-focus efforts on development and growth which is the goal of people besides security and stability.

Concerning regional and international developments, HRH the Prime Minister praised growing awareness of the Gulf countries of the need to boost efforts to combat terrorism and dry up its sources. He emphasised that the countries in the region have suffered a lot from terrorism and look forward to uniting people and protecting nations.
