General Sheikh Mohammed Meets King Abdullah

(Jeddah) – H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, held talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, and His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, centred on the current developments in the region and latest international events.
The talks were held at the Royal Palace in Jeddah within the context of joint consultation and coordination between the three countries. During the talks, the three Arab leaders took stock of the current regional and international developments and exchanged views on a variety of issues of mutual interest. They also reviewed international efforts aimed at realising peace, security and stability in the region. A number of senior Saudi, Emirati and Jordanian officials attended the talks.
General Sheikh Mohammed was welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah by Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, President of General Intelligence and Secretary-General of National Security Council; and a number of top Saudi officials.
