GCC’s “Health, Sports, and Entertainment industry” workshop Starts

(Dubai) – H.E. Abdul Mohsin Al Dossary, Assistant Under Secretary of Sports at the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare, paid tribute to the leadership of the U.A.E. for the care and support given to healthcare, sport and youth sectors. He said that the U.A.E. has achieved tremendous achievements in these fields under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the leadership and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
He added that these achievements have contributed to further raising the U.A.E.’s profile as one of the world’s most developed countries in these sectors, keeping pace with the leadership’s ambitions for sustainable development in all areas to ensure a high level of welfare and standards of living across the nation.
Al Dossary was addressing the opening session of a two day workshop for young people organised by the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Dubai, in the presence of VIPs and senior officials from across the GCC.
This is the most recent in a series of workshops being held by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States in the member states, following a decision made by the GCC Supreme Council during its 34th summit in Kuwait in December 2013.
