
(Riyadh) – The Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States issued a press statement at the conclusion of the 134th session of the GCC foreign ministers.
The UAE was represented to the GCC meeting by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
“The GCC ministerial council held its 134th session on 12, March, 2015, under the chairmanship of Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and Chairman of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, and with the participation of the GCC Foreign Ministers and GCC Secretary General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani,” said the press statement.
In the statement, the Ministerial Council extended condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; the House of Saud and the Saudi people as well as the Arab and Islamic nations on the death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
