FNC Endorses Budget Committee & Human Rights Panel(Abu Dhabi) – The Federal National Council has endorsed the draft federal budget and the budget of autonomous bodies for 2013. In its 4th session of the second ordinary term in the 15th legislative chapter, held under the chairmanship of Speaker H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, the FNC also approved creation of a permanent human rights committee to support the country’s efforts in that front both locally and internationally. Present during the session were H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, H.E. Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs & for FNC Affairs, H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs and H.E. Sultan Al Suwaidi, Governor of the Central Bank.
