(Cairo) – Egyptian President Adly Mansour has re-affirmed his country’s support to the different international stands taken by the UAE, saying that security of the Gulf and Egypt is inseparable. In a statement by the Egyptian presidency issued after Mansour’s meeting with UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Egyptian President expressed appreciation to the UAE’s “strong political and economic support to Egypt following the 30th of June 2013 revolution.”
President Mansour asked Sheikh Abdullah to pass on his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to President Mansour greetings of Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He said the UAE was keen on continuing its support to Egypt, adding that Egypt’s stability reflects positively on the stability of the UAE and of the Gulf countries in general.
