Dubai launches 18th edition of summer festival

(Dubai) – Dubai launches the 18th edition of the longest running summer festival of its kind in the region, Dubai Summer Surprises, DSS, with a fantastic line-up of surprises, excitement and entertainment.
Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, DFRE, an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DTCM, the festival will run from today until 5th September under the theme “45 Days of Summer”, offering fantastic shopping, entertainment, leisure and winning opportunities for residents and visitors from around the world.
A packed calendar of family-oriented events, headlined by a number of celebrity appearances, world premieres, grand concerts, the highest number of retail promotions offering millions of Dirhams in prizes, combined with excellent shopping rewards, will set the stage for a one-of-a-kind summer extravaganza in Dubai.
