Bahrain, British judicial cooperation discussed

(Manama) – Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Acting Chairman, Court of Cassation President Salem bin Mohammed Al-Kawari received Sir Peter Henry Gross, member of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, in the presence of British Ambassador to Bahrain Simon Martin attended the meeting.

The visit of Sir Peter Henry Gross aims at consolidating bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and get an idea about joint practices relating to the judicial management, reform and court work procedures. Al-Kawari welcomed the visit of Sir Peter Henry Gross, stressing the importance of exchanging judicial practices to keep abreast of modern management and administrative skills. Sir Peter Henry Gross stressed the importance of change and modern judicial management towards enhancing the quality of work and performance and ensuring efficient and expedite execution of verdicts.
