Bahrain attends Pakistan’s National Day celebrations

(Islamabad) – National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, has attended the ceremony held by the Pakistani army on Pakistan’s National Day.
Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain, senior military commanders, senior Pakistani government officials, and guests from brotherly and friendly countries, also attended the event.
The National Guard commander attended the military parade carried out by the Pakistani Army and forces from brotherly and friendly countries, expressing admiration for the military shows of the Pakistani Army, as well as its high competence, readiness, preparedness and skilful performance during the parade.
The National Guard commander lauded the solid relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, and hailed friendly Pakistan’s role in supporting regional security and stability.
HH Shaikh Mohammed affirmed that the advanced level reached by the joint military cooperation reflects the decades-long efforts to bolster bilateral relations.
HH Shaikh Mohammed is attending the celebration, along with a delegation comprising senior National Guard officers, at the official invitation extended to him.
